William Warburton Scrugham

Hon. William Scrugham

1820-1867

William Warburton Scrugham served in 1867. Born in Yonkers, Westchester County, N.Y., Mar. 19, 1820. Admitted to practice, 1843. Father was the first lawyer to have practiced in Yonkers. Supervisor, Yonkers, N.Y., 1847; District attorney, 1848-1851. Brigadier general, 7th Brigade, 2d Division, New York State Militia. Elected to state supreme court, 1859. Died Aug. 9, 1867.
