This program opened with a brief presentation by the Society’s Young Lawyers Committee Co-Chair David L. Goodwin, on the history of famous and infamous New York criminal cases. Hon. Michael Obus then lead a discussion with a panel of defense and prosecution lawyers dissecting current and historic cases and their outcomes, trial strategy, and issues arising from these notorious cases, including safety of witnesses and juries, and the court management of high profile cases.
