James Mullett served 1851. Born in Whitington, Vt., Oct. 17, 1784, the eldest of 13 children. Moved to Darien, Genesee County, N.Y., circa 1800, and to Fredonia, Chautauqua County, in 1810. Admitted to the Chautauqua court of common pleas, 1814, and to supreme court, 1816. Elected (Bucktail Party) to state assembly, 1822, 1823. Buffalo city attorney, 1846.
