Hon. Daniel Pratt

Daniel Pratt served in 1850. Born on Aug. 22, 1806, in Greenwich, Washington County. Union College graduate, 1835. Admitted to practice, 1836. Appointed by Gov. William C. Brouck to Court of Common Pleas of Onondaga County, 1843. State supreme court 1847-1859. Appointed assembly counsel for the impeachment trial of Judge George G. Barnard. Elected attorney general of New York State, 1873. Died Jul. 23, 1884, in Syracuse. Obituary, The New York Times, Jul. 24, 1884. With thanks to the Onondaga Historical Association.
