John Hazard Reynolds was born Jun. 21, 1819, in Moriah (Moreau?), N.Y. He studied law in Kinderhook, Columbia County, and was a member of the 36th Congress, 1859-1861. He died Sep. 24, 1875, in Kinderhook, N.Y., and is buried at Kinderhook Cemetery. His portrait hangs in the Attorneys’ Lounge at Court of Appeals Hall.
