- Records from 1808-1990 are in paper format and on microfilm. Supreme Court records are digitized from 1990 to present, and County Court records are digitized from 1922 to present.

Records of the Circuit Court, 1832-1843
In accordance with CPLR, County Clerks receive a fee for copies of $.65 per page/minimum $1.30. Cortland County Clerk’s Office does not require that assistance be provided by staff when copying records from books. It has one microfilm reader/printer but access has never been an issue.
