Accessing County Records

The Kings County Clerk allows for the public to access most records that are available at our office, on NYSCEF and on the King’s County Clerk’s website using our Online Clerk’s Minutes. Further, information for the types of records that are available and how to access the Clerk’s office may be accessed on the website.

Some records are confidential by law and cannot be made available to the public (see e.g., NY Domestic Relations Law 235). Any member of the public who wants to review documents in the Kings County Clerk’s Office is encouraged to email kccinfo@nycourts.gov with the type(s) of documents they want to access so our clerks may instruct them on the best way to view and obtain copies (online or in person) and inform of the fees associated with the types of documents as well.
