DESCRIPTION:A Young Lawyers Committee Event\nNew York City Bar Association\nA group of students\, interns and young lawyers were treated to an exclusive conversation about this married couple’s road to a career in the law\, their lives as litigators\, and how they give back to the community through their pro bono activities. The conversation was moderated by David L. Goodwin\, Co-Chair of the Society’s Young Lawyers Committee. The Committee developed this series to provide young and aspiring lawyers with the opportunity of learning from role models who are leading figures of the Bar. \nRoy L. Reardon has built a distinguished career as a litigator at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He chaired its Litigation Department and sat as a member of its Executive Committee. The list of awards and recognition he has received from both the Bench and Bar is a testament to a career spent in service to others. He is a long-standing Trustee of the Society. Patricia M. Hynes was a litigator at prominent NY law firms and also worked for the government at the U.S. Attorney’s Office\, Southern District.
